The idea of painting or drawing something that isn’t real is inherently fascinating to me. I enjoy using imagery from the natural world and twisting it into an entity that isn’t entirely recognizable. Creating these animal amalgamations is always exciting to me, as it essentially allows me to show the viewer a snapshot of the inside of my mind.

I find birds to be especially intriguing and they are often the subjects of my work.
