In my vessel forms I have always considered the contained space and feel of the piece. Recently the volume of internal space became more important as one of my jars was used for my mothers’ ashes. The repetitiveness of making these pieces helped me both remember and celebrate her. These pieces were made individually, but I view them as a single process.
